The Yale Undergraduate Portuguese Association (YUPA) is a Portuguese forum at Yale University. Membership is open to all Portuguese, those of Portuguese descent, and all who share an interest in the Portuguese culture. 

YUPA’s goal is to promote Portuguese culture at Yale and to foster interchanges between the USA, Portugal, and the rest of the Lusophone world. Furthermore, YUPA aims to sponsor events that are pertinent to and shed light on Portuguese culture and traditions, while also fostering exchanges between Portuguese universities and Yale. YUPA hopes to become an integral part of the cultural tapestry of Yale University by enriching the diversity on campus and creating an environment where all who are interested can connect with the Portuguese heritage.
